History

Well the band started out as "Freedumb." With Shane Henry, Daniel Henn, and Josh Spears as the beginning members. The band played together for about 2 months then played a battle of the bands. The show was blown away by the performance and "Freedumb" took home the prize with the hit song "Don't Judge Me." The band was a hit. Soon after battle of the bands, Hayden Johnson took on Rhythm guitar. The band continued to play under the name "Freedumb" for several months. Many shows were played for the next 6-7 months. Then the band decided a name change was in order. "Blind Wake" prevailed as the new name. Under this new name "Blind Wake" put out their first recored album "Blind Wake." Which sold over 200 copies. Recently Josh Spears Left the band, for certain understandable reasons. We love him and miss him. He is our brother. So now it's just Shane, Hayden, and Daniel. Now as it remains the trio, a name change was in order because of the new turn in music and the band wants a name to go along with it, so "Wounds of Autumn" was born. For all of you who ask, "What does that mean?" Autumn is a symbol of love. The Wounds that Jesus recieved from being on the cross were wounds out of love and so we came up with the name "Wounds of Autumn"
